El Candelario - Bogotá

Candelario serves a lemited menu but very fast and at a good price. The place gets very bussy form 12:00 to 2:00pm every day but it is worth the visit. At night it becomes a night club!

I do not get the concept of decoration, religious images everywhere resembled the concept of another very famous restaurant in the city. Customer service was fine. I found the menu very limited, there were no Entrees available neither shares or desserts. The server offered us three different salads that were not on the menu and were served in very tiny cups. Food came within 5 to 10 minutes and it was okay. Tables and chairs are very unpleasant, the size of the plates is large and hardly attached to the tables. Chairs have no back rest that sits, eat and enjoy! Experience uncomfortable. A little expensive for what they offer. It wasn't the worse place I was, but I don't want to go back to lunch.

We enjoyed the meal very much. We wanted to taste typical Colombian cuisine and ate ajiaco and bandeja paisana. Great experience!

The restaurant is located in the historic district of La Candelaría. The fare is simple, but plentiful and certainly delicious. We had the chicken breast with rice and fries with one side of avocado. It was a good lunch with great service.

Was very fast and attention very friendly. The location is clean and close to many beautiful places. The menu had a wide selection of good food.
