Contribuiți la feedbackThis was our first visit and we thoroughly enjoyed it! We didn’t realise it is an alcohol free restaurant, which is fine as we aren’t big drinkers but they didn’t have any of the non-alcoholic rose advertised on the menu which was a shame. However the food was fantastic. It arrived fast, was really hot and tasted brilliant! The portion sizes were really good and all the dishes were presented really nicely! We were brought complimentary samosas and also offered complimentary coffees after. I’d also like to mention how good the service was. The guy who served us (it said Khalid at the top of the receipt so hopefully it was him) was fantastic! He was a brilliant waiter and his manners were first class! I even heard another diner pull him to the side and compliment him on how good his service was! Great all round! We’ll be back!
Visited yesterday.. This used to be probably the best curry in Bognor, however when ordering we were told that they no longer serve alcoholic drinks. Almost wanted to leave as it was a Xmas do but decided to stay for the food.. However the meat was fast cooked and chewy, no taste and frankly a waste of £180 .. Their sister restaurant Anokha serves better food but is a long way out of town. We won’t be back as there are other places that are better and cheaper.. consider this average at best.
We have eaten here a few times over the years. The food has been consistently of an excellent standard. However we recently visited again and we were taken aback when we were given the restaurant menu. A chicken rogan, my go to curry, was priced at £11.95, a price we have never paid for this classic curry. I was being treated by my family as it was my birthday so I felt I couldn't say anything. Every course cost much more than we have ever paid for an Indian meal and were considerably more than stated on their online menu. The following day when I read the online Restaurant menu it had the prices we had been expecting to pay....chicken rogan was £7.95. The online Takeaway menu was also online with the slightly cheaper prices as would be expected. So a warning....you might want to check what the restaurant prices actually are before you sit down. The extra amount paid by our family was a large amount if you consider each main was approximately £4 more than expected as well as the extra charged for the starters etc.
Best Indian ever. Generous portions and the most tender chicken I’ve ever experienced. Some unique dishes as well.
We had a take away for 4 for the first time this evening, although we had eaten at the restaurant in the past. The food was ready within 20 minutes and everything was tasty and well presented, the staff very pleasant when we arrived to pick it up. We would definitely get a take away again.
