The Dodging Duck Brewhaus - Boerne

Delicious! We dropped in after the fair and enjoyed a wonderful German sausage plate with sauerkraut and a pretzel. It was fantastic! The plate comes with 2 or 4 links and I shared with my wife, who ordered the Beyond Brats. I had the traditional country and the venison. It was all wonderful. The staff was super friendly, and helpful, anticipating that we would need a spare plate. We were seated quickly, like 1 minute of waiting. The restaurant was very clean and you could tell it has been updated recently, but it still had that rustic charm we are always looking for. Try the sausage plate! Top marks!

My husband and I stopped in to try some of the beers. He went to the bar and ordered 2 9 oz pours which should have been $10. He received $4.25 in change. He went back to question the price, the bar tender was extremely rude and insulted him for questioning. She , asked if he’d like a receipt, then threw down the receipt and $5. She didn’t apologize or acknowledge her mistake, just walked away.

Wonderful beer and relaxing ambience. And I got my 22nd Anniversary glassware!

Last visit was good but not this last visit, the flys were ALL over our food gross … my fish and chip were over cooked and my son drink ever had flys in it , told waitress and she just said “ o not good “ and left…I was extremely disappointed.

This place was so good! We were car shopping in boerne and took a break for din. Everyone was super friendly, the food was great, and they have cute wine and beer flights so you can sample things. The Cobb salad is prob the best I’ve ever had and the pretzel with cheese sauce was bomb! Will def be back!
