The kitchen could be even better and the portions are more moderate. The beer is why it is worth coming here is Swabian Bräu art at the highest level. In summer there is a garden shop with Pommes Bude. Then it is really good to vesper here, and the kids can be played on the playground in the garden. And the beer tastes even better in the summer. 5 stars for summer, three in winter are on average then 4.
Another couple brought me here to help them with some budgetary problems. This place is always a way to get in the free hours when so many other places closed. It's probably my tenth time to eat here. The service is always great; the food is always very delicious. My friend and I went with the brewhouse special with muzzles, a small carving, and Spaetzle and his wife went with the famous pigshaxen. We also had a side salad. I had enough to take home for leftovers, especially as I got a healthy part of pigshaxen and all my sparrow. Always reliable in the book!
Last night in the area and this place had been recommended to us repeatedly so we gave it a try. ABSOLUTELY a must if your in the area. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted with a handshake by our waiter. The service was amazing. The authentic local food did not disappoint. The beer was outstanding. I wish we had went here sooner. Cannot recommend enough.

We had to wait over 30 min after eating to get our check and go Sixth We wanted desert but after the long wait we went to get ice cream elsewhere. Seventh……. Never coming back
After a long wait through the COVID pandemic, it was wonderful to see this wonderful establishment reopen its doors to the public. While I have dined here a handful of times, this was my wife's first experience. We went on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon and sat for two hours enjoying a delicious meal and some great beers. My wife selected the pork strips in a mushroom cream sauce with a side of Spätzle while I went with the pork cutlets with Spätzle and red cabbage. I must say that mine could have used more gravy, especially since this is German, the gravy capital of the world. I will say that my wife's dish was superb and may be the best meal I have tried there. As always, our waitress, Tina, was amazing. You will never go wrong dining here.
