If we ever return to Boeblingen and can only go to one eating establishment, this would be THE one ! We spent weeks at a nearby hotel (am Schlossberg), and once we discovered the Frech Konditorei, that was it. We ate breakfast here almost...every single morning. We have never eaten fresher pastries. Seriously ! When we were there in May, it was rhubarb season, and you could buy two large rhubarb pastries for (euros). They were so delicious that we could not get enough of them, and kept bringing some back to the Hotel. Their breakfast menu has ample choices, and we sampled them all. Cannot make a decision on which was the best, as they were all so good. Lovely cafe area with booths where one can sit and relax and people watch. Breakfast comes on a silver tray with the most delicious coffee and a smile. Did not see any tourists besides us, as this seems to be a local spot, with locals enjoying their coffee, pastry and newspaper. The staff is very courteous, attentive and super nice. Their coffee was so good that we chose to bring it home to all our good friends. I ordered pounds of the Spezial (house blend) in individual pound bags. They never even asked for a phone number, and when we came to pick that coffee up, it was ready and all attractively packaged for us. Could not say enough good things about this place. We want to go back !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We frequented the bakery near the Hotel Bohler. They have a nice variety of pastries and breakfast items. They also serve a good cup of cappuccino. We ate there numerous times and also took some food to go. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I ordered the Schwabisch breakfast. The breadcakes served were still warm, fantastic! Breakfast is good quality and tasty. Meat and cheese. Coffee. Entrance and Exit are via the bakery. I recommend you to stop at the bakery counter to bring home some bread. True quality.

I stop in for baked goods every time and every day I am in Boblingen. Always people coming in and out and despite my poor German, they are easy to work with.

You will definetally like the FRECHDAX at the lake side. Regardless you test the various breakfast options in the morning (til midday of course) or the lunch or the phantastic cakes and the own coffee. The meals are of a wide variety and of highest...quality. Inside it is a bit too loud for me especially when you want to have conversation. The balcony (inside) is the quiter place therefore. The best of Frexday is of course to sit outside as soon as the sun comes out. Nice amibiente a bit meditarean. The staff is very good. I recognize that the staff is not changing very often, what speaks for this bistro. In fact the staff is very engaged. The prices are mid-range from my perspective.
