Zucchero Cafe Bistro - Bodenmais

Very nice Italian restaurant in Bodenmais. The food was excellent and the staff very attentive. Both the pasta and pizza dishes were first class . The outside seating area was very pleasant. We booked each time which is recommended as it is popular.

Amazing Birthday dinner provided by the lovely staff of Cafe Zucchero with candles and flowers so romantic! fantastic food, good wine and all wishes catered for. Best of all I could organize this beautiful birthday dinner for my family while I am in Australia. Cafe Zucchero were most accommodating and so easy to deal with! Just wonderful country hospitality highly recommended! Thank you Cafe Zucchero!

The restaurant was very busy when we arrived, but we had reserved a table. The starters arrived promptly and were very good (bruschetta and soup), as were the drinks. The main course took a while, and I received mine first. I didn’t want to start eating until my partner’s food arrived, which the waitress noticed and offered tokerp mine warm for me. Although I appreciated the gesture, it would have been better had both dishes arrived together really. The food was good value for money, the restaurant was clean and service curteous, but quite loud, so not exactly a romantic setting. Overall goid value for money, but not spectacular.

We had lunch here twice on our recent visit to Bodenmais. The pizzas were very good. I also tried a pasta dish which was good. Very generous portions. The staff were very friendly and remembered us.
