Very good! Totally friendly and funny hosts. The food was amazing! Home cooking like it's not better!

We've been coming to Bodenmais for more than 20 years and since the market is over, we've been a regular guest there. We can only recommend it! The food is super delicious and the price/performance ratio is not too good. And also the Michi, the Marianne and the boss are great. We look forward to it every year!

We have been regular guests in Bodenmais for more than 25 years.From the beginning, the old post was and after that the market pass was our tribal. The quality of food, and the large portions, at this reasonable price, are simply unbeatable. The daily changing daily menu offers a wide range of dishes in addition to the normal menu. For me there was always something I liked or tried again. Everything is freshly prepared and you also taste it. For every food, there is a suitable sauce. No matter whether wild, poultry, lamb, beef or pig, there is an individually prepared sauce. The inn is always set up to spits and makes a joke here and there. Not every guest likes this, but I think that's the perfect place. Also the cook comes from the kitchen occasionally, with the guests. and make some fun of it. In summer, you can also sit in the beautiful beer garden, which is partly also covered. However, since the smokers are usually sitting in the beer garden, I prefer the cozy interior. I can recommend the Marktstüberl to anyone and cannot understand the few negative reviews. Whenever we make a holiday in Bodenmais, the Marktstüberl is our first choice.

Super local and family atmosphere. Operation very friendly and the food is just delicious. If we were to live in the Bavarian forest, we would be regular guests there. It is definitely worth a visit for holidaymakers. One of the best places we visited.
