Rustic cozy brewhouse in the middle of Bodenmais. Besides food from the region there are also steaks. I had a 250g Rumpsteak with nick, Furnace tomato and roasted peppers and grilled butter. All for EUR 14,50. My steak was medium and perfect. There is a beer for EUR 3,10 and friendly service, beautiful ambience and good prices. That's what you can do. We were in the ground maize for six days and are here for the fourth time. Then it must be five stars.
We have been coming to Bodenmais for several years and are always happy to get a table at Marcella. It is our sunshine and the holiday begins with its smile: One other colleague could accept her kindness!!!
As two years ago, on 23.07.2018, we used the free forest track for owners of spa cards to drive from Zwiesel to Bodenmais, we wanted to see if the food in Adam-Bräu is still so good. I again ordered the fillet steak small (200 gr) with pommes to 21.80 euros, my wife the daily memorable beef goulash with late zle, which cost 17.80 with soup and ice dessert. The fillet steak with homemade steak butter was quite ok. What I lacked, however, were the 5 fried bacon strips, which are still listed in the map on the Internet, but no longer in the published menus. Anyway, I had the same court in mind two years ago. The Gulasch was not to blame. However, this year we left it with 2 white beers (each 3.30 euros) per person. All in all acceptable, but somehow we lacked enthusiasm. We found that we can now also pay with EC card. Two years ago, only cash was desired.
