The Tides Wharf - BODEGA BAY

Was nice. Service was mediocre, waiter forgot our bread and then got weird when I reminded him. Food was pretty good but not up to the prices charged. Nice view of the bay.

I came and bought some clam chowder and smoked salmon today at the Tides Wharf Store. Sandra and Horhay are very nice and professional people! I really enjoyed shopping today! They deserve a raise! I hope they will be noticed by the manager and rewarded for their excellent customer service!

My lovely trip to Bodega Bay was absolutely ruined when attempting to dine at The Tides. The waiter brought me a glass of water before the appetizer, and to my surprise I took a sip not noticing the rim of the glass was covered with lipstick from a previous customer. I was mortified and disgusted by the lack of cleanliness already presented by this establishment. I asked to speak to the manager who could not guarantee me any safety concerns that may follow especially regarding covid or Hepatitis. No attempt to at least console me. My advice to anyone dining out, ALWAYS CHECK YOUR DISHES FOR ANY SUSPICIOUS MARKS!! Only eat at this restaurant when they finally decide to clean up their dishes!

I am not a fan of being guilted or forced into leaving a tip at the bakery counter, especially after I already tipped at the restaurant. Please update your POS system to allow for a zero tip on the primary screen at the bakery.

Took a pastry to go with a friend. BIG MISTAKE. Had a puff pastry shell thing with lemon ricotta filling . The outside was stale and soggy while the inside tasted like play dough. STAY AWAY from their heinous baked goods.
