Contribuiți la feedbackIn Altenbochum there is a striking building on the intersection Goystraße Wittener Straße. Okay, seen from the front, it is actually “just” a well maintained older house in raspberry (or magenta? from 1904. If you go a few steps further to the back of the building in Goystraße, you will be rewarded with an unusual sight: you will find such a narrow house in Dutch old towns. It is possible to include a local attraction in every Bochum guide... The bakery is attached to the building that still offers real craft. At Wittener Straße you will find the café of the old Wickenburg family. That I now like this bakery better than the competition of Schmidtmeier and Löscher (at REWE can be due to the radiance of the building, but also through the bright interior of the coffee room: In fact, while the other two locations look pretty cumbersome, Wickenburg creates a brighter and friendly atmosphere through the large glass front (on the street and the furnishings). In addition, the elevated floor (more than the street level!) offers a sympathetic distance to the busy Wittener Straße. Guys, there's almost something like a holiday feeling with me! In order to illuminate the room, the rays and the courtesy of the service forces will merge, which ultimately creates the necessary harmony to feel comfortable around this. Maybe because it's a family business, who knows? The lady behind the counter smiles to me. “Good morning, do you wish?” I, disappointed: “Only, no more scrambled eggs...” At first I get a quirting, then the answer comes: “No problem, I make you some fresh out of the pan.” Man, that was delicious! And also the cappuccino. So, the assortment is excellent, the prices are bearable, rolls and bread big... and the cakes... creative and tasteful. Those who miss the special in Altenbochum find it here. The building (in and outside a eye-catcher, the service class and the offered goods no less. Datt gives five stars, Abba sowatt from!
Although it is somewhat more expensive in the bakery Wickenburg than in finished bakery shops, I really think it is worth buying his roles here. Unfortunately, there are no more many bakers of this kind, and I hope they will be completely postponed. To offer: I only buy rolls for the university in the morning, so I can say little to the breads. But the reels are TOP. They are not too soft, as is often the case with other bakers, and the cheese rolls still have an edge: . For the service: the sellers are always very friendly and are also happy to receive something through a small conversation, but I find nothing bad at all, because they are at least treated as a human being and can become even communicative, which becomes clearly too short in everyday life. Conclusion: Spend more than 10 cents here, but more qualitatively.
Really great bakery with very good quality. Unfortunately, the reels on Sunday are extremely expensive. You can do that, but the price limit for such a Sundayshahn is already exceeded... No matter their good roles, you can always give a little more. Early in the morning there is even the direct bakery sale more expensive than the countersale that starts a little later. This is one of the few concierges that really do everything themselves. ... how often can you see a fire truck from a bakery that supplies pre-baked from the big bakery and only bakes the branch.... Wickenburg is great.
Very good bakers. We often ordered cakes. Always been happy. The sellers are also very accommodating.
One of the best bakeries in the city. Also a nice ambience for a breakfast. However, it is not quite cheap, which is perfect given the quality. In terms of confectionery also a very good choice. Advice and selection are recommended.
