Vesuvio - Bochum

Just came from a 3-week trip to Poland and wanted something different. Wasn't sure what was available in the area and so I asked a friend who recommended this restaurant. They take reservations and was happy to know that they take major credit cards. The...place was small but cozy. For a weekday, it was full of patrons. I was not sure whether it was a fine dining restaurant but did note people that were dressed up. There was no mention of a dress code when we made the reservation. The waitstaff were charming. Always with a smile and were corteous. I was craving for Italian cuisine so we ended up with a number of dishes. The Pizza Vesuvio was excellent. The steak was tender. The pasta was al dente, though the shrimps could have been bigger. Nevertheless, the experience was great! Highly recommended and definitely will be back when in the area!
