Saiko-i Sushi Lounge Hibachi

Great restaurant! Tim and Joey are incredibly friendly, and their happy hour is fantastic. The Mongolian Beef is the best I've ever had, and the sushi rolls are outstanding! Food rating: 5/5.

Went here on a monday night for dinner as a party of 3. we were sat promptly and the hosts were very kind and welcoming. we were sat and waited a while for our server to come, probably about 10-15 minutes even though the restaurant was not busy. our server finally came and was in a rush to get our order even if we weren’t ready. i ended up ordering less than i would have because of this (thankfully). all of the food came correctly and was just alright. everything came at the appropriate temperatures, we ordered both from the kitchen and the sushi bar. the food quality has definitely gone down hill, i have not been here in a while and the food used to be much better. everything is also WAY more expensive even though the food is worse. our server was very unfriendly and her service was a solid 4/10, which makes this next part even worse. we got the bill and there was a 20% service fee for a party of 3. this is absolutely ridiculous and unheard of. i have never seen something like this ever, it’s usually parties of 5-8 with 18% gratuity added depending on where you go. our server did not mention this (she barely spoke in general and when she did she was short and a bit rude). my mistake was not looking at the details so i tipped her on top of the 20%. i regret coming back to this place, the service and food are mediocre at best and my server made way too much money off of us. 3/5 because the food was okay and the atmosphere is nice. i will not be coming back and will make sure to let everyone i know to steer clear of this restaurant.

Horrible First Time Experience. It was my sons bday and after several calls on assuring a great experience, the manager sits us in an overcrowded table facing the bus station and the opening to the table with bus boys etc entering ... We asked him to move , we were told "it 's everybody "s bday "Yours no special . We proceeded to leave the restaurant when another manager proceeded to accommodate us to another table suited for dinning. We had appetizers and they were great. ThatSaid Be aware once you order hibachi it 's a RIP OFF. 2lbs of rice and less then 2 4 cubes of steak 4 5 shrimp if your lucky. You will come home with a lot of starch and hungry In 1 hour. Never returning thank you for an awful experience!!!!

We made reservations in advance and ate dinner last night at Saiko. The service by our waitress was the worst I've experienced anywhere in a long time. She refused to seat our party until every single person arrived, then was beyond rude to us, ordering drinks and food. She hushed us, was rude in all interactions, and was the least hospitable server we have ever encountered. Service was beyond slow. Items forgotten and missed. Four of the people in our party weren't given soup and salad and after they reminded multiple times it was finally brought out after they were eating their hibachi food and rice. I will say our chef was wonderful and the food was fine. But the poor service from the woman at the front who later became our server was unforgivable. Would not recommend to anyone. We won't be back.
