Piccolino Italian Ristorante

Two words. Hidden gem. Amazing prices. The veal Parmesan is excellent. The Dover Sole Francese is excellent. The meatballs are excellent. The linguine with clams is excellent. The alla vodka is excellent. I've only written three reviews on Yelp in my life and this is one of them. That's saying something!

Our friends had been recommending this restaurant to us for some time, so we decided to give it a try last night. The parking was excellent, so no need to worry about that. The restaurant itself is small but cozy, with a slightly outdated decor that gives it a homey feel. It reminds me of a Trattoria in Italy. The food was good - the salmon was a standout dish with onions and mushrooms, served with a side of overcooked broccoli. The penne a la vodka was also tasty, as was the veal. We shared a Caesar salad and enjoyed the bread and zucchini fried sticks they brought to the table. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, and since it wasn't too busy, we had a chance to chat comfortably. Overall, it's a nice, no-frills Italian restaurant.

Am elegant surprise. Food is very good, we tried a lot as a party of 11. The service truly stood out, service was well beyond the price point.
