New York Prime Steakhouse - Boca Raton

I recently dined at New York Prime in Boca Raton, FL. For my meal, I enjoyed thick cut sizzling bacon, a colossal lump crab cocktail, Oysters Rockefeller, a classic Caesar salad, and a bone-in ribeye steak.

I would never go back to this restaurant. The raw meat was not up to standard, the service was poor, and the overall experience was awful, especially since it was on my birthday. I was extremely upset with the entire dinner experience.

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic in every way. The service, starting from the valet parking, is superb. It truly lives up to the expectations of a fine dining establishment.

Our group went on a busy night, but almost 45 minutes to take to sit down when we had a reservation is almost OK? except the fact that the hosts always told us that we are next and they first sat other people. Service at the front was bad considering that they just kept us in the loop instead of misleading. The service at the table was also only acceptable when considering that we probably get water 3-4 times. There's nothing special here. The food was good overall. Good, but expected. I'd say if they could work on their service, this restaurant could be better than what it was.

I literally never write reviews, but felt that this place deserves it. Just eat one of my favorite places in Boca. Not only the atmosphere and the food amazing, but the service is always wonderful. Jimbo always remembers my friend and I when we come and always make sure we take care. The manager Doug is super sweet and accommodating. We check to ensure that we are happy and give us the best food recommendations. I love New York Prime and don't eat steak. Great location too.
