It's really a nice cosy and homey restaurant. It's all about Alentejo and it's delicious, comfortable food. We had codfish açorda and a nicely grilled pork steak. Really really rich and tasteful, reflecting all the goodness of Alentejo. Definitely one of the (if not the) best restaurants on alentejo/costa vicentina.
I was there for two occasions within 2 weeks. First time I have turned up very late for lunch, but we still got served and had a delicious lunch. As I enjoyed it so much (got the recommendation of a friend) I reserved a table...More
The tasca is not easy to find because you don't see a sign at the main road when you are driving through. We got there because of the hint of tripadvisor. The surrounding at the restaurant is made with love. The waiters are really friendly. The taste of the starters was good. The portions of the main courses were big and the quality of the fish and meat was really good. Unfortunately they didn't have Lombo or a big selection of desserts. The price for the meals were adequate. We surely will come back when we will stay at Alentejo again.
This is a typical local restaurant however for us it felt short on the service and food. We ate some nice appetizers but the main course was not that good. The 'migas' were too odd, somehow burned and the 'secretos' were not that good as it is expected in this region of the country. The service also needs some improvement since there are only two person doing everything. From barbecue to room service for up to 55 customers.
