One Hot Mama's Bluffton, Sc

This was our first time at this restaurant. The young hostess was friendly and made us feel comfortable with our seating choice. Our server, Valerie, who also happens to be the bartender, was very busy but her pleasant demeanor made our first experience enjoyable. I will definitely recommend this restaurant.

The food was delicious! We placed our order and it was ready for pick up in about 25 minutes, ready when we arrived. Everything was packed in sealed boxes and easy to carry. We ordered the Mama's family style platter and it was amazing! It included 2 large pieces of BBQ chicken, 2 large pieces of fried chicken, about 1 lb of pulled pork, and 1 lb of brisket. It also came with 4 sides (we chose mac and cheese, collard greens, baked beans, and coleslaw) and a basket of honey cornbread. The meat portion was enough for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) for about 3 full meals (it was a lot of meat, in a large aluminum foil pan). The sides lasted for about 2 meals. It would easily feed 6 adults for a full meal, with some meat left over. If you want to feed more adults, you can simply buy an additional platter or two. Everything was well cooked and delicious! We plan on ordering this again in the future.

The variety of options at this restaurant is outstanding, and the brisket was truly one of the best I've ever tasted.
