Kfc - Bluffton

Went into this location about 3:30 in the afternoon on Friday 9/16. I wanted the 1 breast 1 wing combo meal. They offered me 1 wing and 1 thigh didn?t matter if it was original or extra crispy because that?s all they had. They only had a few pieces ofchicken left in the warmer and it wasn?t looking too appetizing anyway. So I ordered tenders. BIG mistake. They were way overcooked. Seems like they were fried twice. The color of the breading was very dark brown and the chicken was completely driedout. The very first bite I took, a big chunk of the dried out chicken came out of the breading and the breading stayed intact. Iwould have gone back to return it but they didn?t have what I wanted anyway.

I didn 't realize they could actually make legs, thighs and other pieces of a chicken so small. I paid too much for too little of food. I even took it back in sand the female manager said "I 'm sorry but we have to make things the way corporate sends them tous.. she didn 't bother to try to make me happy and just add a baby chicken leg. Won go back to the one in Bluffton IN

I had a positive experience with one of the employees there; he was fantastic. However, the manager's attitude left much to be desired—he was quite rude. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the restaurant was a major issue. There were spider webs on the chairs, and the floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days. It seemed like the countertop had been wiped down without much care, as there were visible smudges of oil. The only reason I’m giving this place a three-star rating is because of the food, which was good. I truly question how they passed their health inspection. They really need to consider new management or make some changes.

I have to say this was a disappointing experience. The restaurant was not clean, the service was incredibly slow, and the staff seemed poorly trained. I ordered one item, and they initially told me they had it. However, after waiting for 30 minutes, I went up to inquire about the delay, only to find out they didn't have enough chicken to complete my order — and it turned out they didn't even have the type of chicken I had ordered. Ultimately, I ended up waiting for food that they had messed up.

I wanted extra crispy chicken, but they didn't have it. I also asked for gizzards, which they were out of as well. In the end, I settled for the regular chicken, but it was dry and tasted stale, as if it had been kept under the heat lamps for too long.
