Island Bagel Deli - Bluffton

We went to try a bagel sandwich, and I ordered a salmon spread on an everything bagel. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement! I've never encountered a cream cheese spread that was runny before—it was terrible! On top of that, there was barely any spread on the bagel! I will never return there, nor will I recommend it to anyone.

This restaurant used to be one of the friendliest and most welcoming spots for breakfast. However, the new manager and owner is the rudest person I've ever encountered in a business setting. Today, I witnessed him refuse to sell a customer a dozen bagels, which are listed on the menu, simply because he only had 15 left. He practically yelled at the customer for wanting to buy them. Does a customer's money somehow become less valuable from morning to afternoon? I left and have no intention of coming back. The owner needs to let his staff take charge, as he clearly lacks professionalism. The overall quality of the restaurant has significantly declined from what it used to be. I would recommend avoiding this dirty establishment.

The bagels are incredibly fresh, featuring classic combinations like bacon, egg, and cheese, as well as some more adventurous options dipped in maple syrup or paired with unique sauces. The shop had a delightful aroma, and the service was prompt. I really wish this place were in my hometown; I would definitely become a regular!

Island of Bagel is an excellent breakfast spot! I really enjoy their lowcountry bagel with butter. The staff is friendly, service is quick, and the prices are reasonable. I can't wait to return. I highly recommend it for a quick breakfast or to grab some bagels to take home. They have a great selection of bagels too!

Rita is amazing! She's incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The breakfast bagels were delicious; we tried the maple and the steak and egg varieties. The cheese and cinnamon rolls were also fantastic!
