Blue Ridge Mountain -b-q

Visiting Blue Ridge and stopped in for some BBQ. Size of the barbecue sandwich was extremely small not much meat at all. At the cash register when checking out, I was given all of my change in bills with the exception of seven cents in change. When I returned to the counter to ask why I did not receive the exact amount, the cashier told me “most people leave change for a tip”. I guess she just decided on her own to keep my change. I realize it was only 7 cents. The point is she deceptively stole money that did not belong to her. I was shocked that a business owner, if that’s what she was, would assume I wanted to leave a tip without giving me the choice to do so with my own money. Also, I guess she didn’t like that I asked for not only my money back, but two other friends I was eating with. She made it a point to yell out when we left “you ladies have a nice day”. A dig of course in very poor taste. Would not waste your time or money here.

I read the reviews and didn’t listen. The food is expensive and the portions are TINY. I was very surprised. The food isn’t very good. I was very disappointed.

I’m only sharing a negative to spare you from missing out. From Jasper to blue ridge we have some of the best bbq restaurants it’s hard to decide which is best. But this one, is a definite “not so great”. While the service was good and the food came quickly, it was crazy expensive and not very good. My daughter got a burger than was nearly $20. That doesn’t seem like a bad price until you see the burger. It was so tiny. It was the size of a Wendy’s jr. All the portions were smaller than the other options in the area and the prices were more. I wondered if the owners had ever been to their competition. Everything was either okay or not so good. I felt like I was getting charged high prices for mediocre food only bc it was in blue ridge.

Brisket was tough and rubbery so was the chicken the only thing good was the 3.00 toast.

Small cozy and Like At Home BBQ ! Chicken Salad was on fire !!! Kid-friendliness: And Fur-Baby Was able to sit outside !!
