The Chestnut Grille - BLOWING ROCK

What a fantastic place! It has now become our favorite spot in the Signal Mountain area.

The lighting was not intimate....had fan spot lights on us. winter comfort was too cool. the floors were dusty and dirty .what we don't understand why it wasn't clean because we were sitting first. the meal was very cold and had not much taste, which I had the nc trout meal. the breakfast meal was a catastrophe that I had the Hasch dish that was scratched. the waitress did not ask how the meal was. after the waitress had left the rest of the meal. ... then 15 minutes came up after we finished, nobody wanted to take the dishes away or ask if everything was in order. was totally disappointed. will not come back and not recommend.

The staff was quite disappointing during our three meals at the restaurant. For breakfast, the hash browns were undercooked, and the omelette was small and lacked seasoning. We also faced long wait times, and the overwhelmed employees seemed hurried in their efforts to keep up.

Reasonably priced. Super service. Look forward to visiting again.
