I’ve only been here a few times, but I’ve always been happy with the seating and the staff. I visited on a Sunday at 3:30, and it seems the hours have changed, possibly because of COVID. They don’t open at 2 PM as stated on the website, so it's a good idea to call ahead to avoid wasting your trip.

While the overall cleanliness of the establishment could be improved, the staff was very friendly and eager to accommodate us in any way they could. You could genuinely sense the manager's dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction. They also kept the smoking area outside, which was a pleasant touch. The carpeted floors were surprisingly clean for a pool hall. We didn't order any food and weren't aware of the menu options available.

The restaurant features beautiful tables adorned with diamonds, but the sight of a drunk person sprawled on a bench outside at 5 PM was off-putting. I stayed for six racks of my meal, but I was the only customer present. The individual who seemed to be the owner was sitting at the bar with two friends and the bartender, yet none of them acknowledged my presence at all.

Steve's Place changed my perception of a pool hall. All ages can be in the pool room and 21 and over in the bar area. It's clean with new carpet and nice pool tables. The staff is friendly and the beer is cold. Good place to stop in with the family or on a date night for entertainment that won't break the bank. Its located just off 37 and close to major restaurants. Would definitely recommend stopping in after dinner one evening to check it out. You won't be disappointed with the friendly atmosphere.
