Snuffy's Malt Shop - Bloomington

The burger was served hot, but the fries were cold and lacked flavor. The ranch dressing tasted strange. The Arnold Palmer was unbalanced and had a strange aftertaste. Despite being understaffed, the restaurant had dirty floors and sticky tables. The only redeeming quality was the malts - I highly recommend trying the Oreo malt, which was the best part of the meal.

The food was tasty, albeit simple. The malts, shakes, and onion rings were particularly delicious. However, the service left much to be desired - it was slow, somewhat rude, and an 18% gratuity was automatically added to the check. The restaurant was not clean and had a bad odor. Despite these issues, I may consider returning if my children really wanted to go back. And don't forget to try the shakes - they were definitely a highlight.

Very good classic a la carte burger and malt shop. The malt menu is awesome, and the half size malt is plenty for most folks, except perhaps athletes with high calorie diets or construction workers coming off of a hot shift working on the freeway. ; Prices are reasonable and well marked, as opposed to so many restaurants that don't tell how much drinks cost. Service takes a little time, as the staff is very busy helping many customers, but giving them a little patience is worth it.

Burger bun was mildly burnt, veggie burger tasted bad, the waitress was very pushy for us to leave even though the place was half empty and a few hours before they closed, the milkshake was extremely thin and if you were blindfolded you 100% wouldn't know it's supposed to be root beer flavor. The cherry phosphate and the chai milkshake were good. Also it's strange for a place to run out of onion rings but that's not a large issue.Vegetarian options: They have a veggie burger but it isn't great
