Pop Up Chicken Shop - Bloomington

This restaurant is definitely one of the best in the Bloomington Normal area. The food is fresh and the pop-up sauce is outstanding. We tried the Sando sandwich, Mac and cheese, street maize, and potato wedges - everything was delicious! I highly recommend this place, especially if you're a fan of chicken sandwiches.

This restaurant serves the best chicken sandwich I have ever had! It has the perfect combination of juicy, tender chicken and crispy bread. You can choose the level of spiciness you prefer, with medium being similar to other spicy chicken dishes, while the hot option is still flavorful. The dill fries with pop-up sauce are crispy spirals of deliciousness, and the Gouda Mac and cheese is creamy and flavorful. This place is definitely worth a visit!

I don't know why I waited so long to try Pop-Up Chicken, but I'm glad I finally did. They serve the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. The restaurant, located in a local VFW kitchen, may not have a flashy atmosphere, but it is focused on serving great food. The menu isn't extensive, which makes it easy to decide what to order. The small menu, which focuses on hot chicken, shows that they excel at what they do. This place is all about chicken, and they stick to that formula. Everything I've tried here has been fantastic, especially their crispy, juicy, white meat hot chicken sandwich. The sandwich comes in mild, medium, or hot levels of spiciness. It's a substantial sandwich that you'll need both hands to eat. I recommend getting the street corn as a side, as it is cheesy, buttery, and flavorful. Make sure to grab extra napkins, as this sandwich can get messy. And don't forget to dip your sandwich in any extra sauces they provide - it's worth it. The first time here and it will definitely not be my last! I wanted to try a variety of items without spending a ton, so I chose the Horseshoe. The menu described the chicken potion as 2 rolls, but honestly it was more like a big chicken breast cut half length, then baked... i.e., no slipping on portions!

This is the heaven for chicken lovers. Yummy food with decent price. Be prepared to wait in queue. (Imagine how best there food is!! so people stand in queue to buy) Roughly ur food will be served in 10mins tea. I love this place and would love to visit again and again. Note: if you want to try something new then order spice level as hot It’s firing hot You will just love it!!
