Ember's Deli - Bloomfield Hills

This restaurant is just as delicious as a New York deli, and the staff is very friendly.

Carryout notice : Please check your bag! The woman in front of me had a large order and meticulously went through her bag after paying. The manager/cook/ or owner (not sure) made a joke to the woman about her not trusting his work. Then he walked toward to prep area and passive aggressively stated to the cashier standing there to keep the line moving... Turns out the woman was onto something. She was missing a big pint of coleslaw, actually. Behind that, I should checked my own bag! Pickles were missing, there was no spoon for my soup. I'd even ordered a cup of soup but got a a BOWL size instead... Certainly, I was charged for the mistake. They are not thorough on carryout there. Check your bag.

The server, food, and ambiance were all outstanding and excellent.

The food and service at this restaurant are excellent. I had lunch here and the portions were very generous. The meals and salads are always fresh, prices are very reasonable, and the service is outstanding. This is one of the best delis around.

Great little deli. homemade beef hasch is to die. for 30 years there. That's what it says!
