A lovely oldie worldie pub, lovely large areas, friendly staff and exceptional home style gutsy food. I had the fish pie, could pick out allll the various fish used and delicious large prawns, superb mash served with tasty well cooked veg. Large portions , couldn't manage the deserts, will do next time!

Love this pub and the food is fantastic. Great atmosphere and very friendly, helpful staff!We have become quite the regulars!

Had excellent bar eating yesterday, brie and bacon baguette, fish and chips and a burger. great service, beautiful waitress, attentive and friendly, we were table 33 outside. only in the ointment I fly my kapuzenpullover on the back of the chair and someone has caught him. will definitely return.
