We took a step in LA BOUGNATE and did not regret it! Before spending the night in a very quiet room we had dinner. The dishes served by the chef are a model of what French cuisine does best, lens with foie gras, lamb confit and coconuts, Auvergne cheeses and home desserts are exquisite! They deserved a Verveine at the end! Cheers!
We had already come and enjoyed it. Very pleasant welcome, a chef who passes in the room and a high quality kitchen. It was not a surprise for us but it is always nice to see it.

This summer, in Auvergne, our steps have guided us to this small restaurant LA BOUGNATE in the shadow of the parasols. We have savored delicious dishes cooked with art, served in simplicity and delicacy, by the thoughtful chef, making sure that we do not miss anything. After a small succulent mouth... In addition, the salad and its citrus, shrimp and salmon trout enjoyed our taste buds. For dessert, the thousand leaves were exquisite! Being in the region of Puy En Velay, we have finished with a small digestive: The elixir of the virtuous verveine and/or the small lime verveine of Puy En Velay. This small qualitative restaurant will remain in our memories as a refined jewel in a delightful setting! Bravo to the chef and his team for their welcome and know how to do it. Murielle MUNIER.
