I pointed out that I had proof of loading $15, which had now vanished. They insisted there was nothing they could do since nothing showed up on their system. Although my app didn't display an order as processed, I ended up with over 100 stars added, yet my money was gone. Another coworker stated that this type of glitch had occurred before, but the supervisor dismissed her entirely, labeling her a liar. When I asked who I should contact for help, the supervisor told me to call Starbucks corporate. I requested a receipt for evidence, given the lack of transactions on my app, but they informed me there was no receipt available since it belonged to the store. I then asked for the names of the staff present, but we went back and forth for about 10 minutes without a resolution. Eventually, the food court manager intervened, though she was neither helpful nor pleasant. The only staff member who genuinely tried to assist me was the taller girl on shift, and I appreciated her effort. Unfortunately, the rest of the team seemed indifferent and unhelpful. In the end, I called Starbucks directly, and they confirmed that I had indeed been charged at that store and were able to issue a refund. While I don't blame the workers for the glitch in the system, I felt disrespected and frustrated by the service. I left without my drinks or food, marking this as my worst customer experience at Starbucks.
I've always enjoyed this location! It's cozy, quiet, and conveniently located near the PX and Commissary. However, my experience today was not what I expected. I ordered an espresso frappuccino with an affogato shot. When I received my drink, it looked perfect, but upon taking a sip, I discovered it was a chunky, icy, and flavorless mess. I went back to ask if they had forgotten the base, hoping they could remake it for me. Unfortunately, the employee curtly told me they were out of base and had added extra milk instead. I asked if they could add a replacement syrup, and she insisted that wasn’t how it’s made. According to her, an espresso frappuccino is simply blended milk, ice, and espresso. With other customers waiting in line, I decided it was best to leave rather than escalate the situation. I was truly disappointed. I've enjoyed this drink before and it’s always been fantastic, but today was a completely different experience.
The drinks here are consistently great, but I've found the staff to be somewhat unfriendly. Additionally, I've noticed that each time I come in, the bakery display features items that appear to have mold; one of the egg bites was entirely gray! While I don’t typically order from the display, it’s still unappealing when I'm thinking about ordering food.
I’m sorry to say that the majority of the staff appears to lack proper training in drink preparation. Each coffee my husband has ordered for me has been incorrect, which is frustrating given the high prices. I strongly suggest that they review the recipes for these coffees and communicate with customers if they are unsure how to make something, instead of making guesses.
The service here is consistently excellent, especially when it comes to our drinks—they always get them right. On our recent visit, we forgot to ask for pup cups, but they kindly offered us two without us even asking. The staff is incredibly friendly, and I’ve noticed they often have tumblers on clearance, which is a nice bonus!
