Hacienda El Charro - Blanco

We went there as a group of ten and had a disappointing experience. We had to send back the enchiladas due to rotten cheese and also returned the quesadilla for the same reason. The staff showed no apology or concern. We won't be returning.

This charming roadside café offers a pleasant experience. We visited during a quiet time in the afternoon, so the place was empty. I tried a couple of soft tacos, which were quite tasty, and my husband ordered the Parrillada Ranchero, which was excellent. It featured sliced beef sautéed with green peppers and onions. The dish was crisp and well-seasoned, with the onions cooked to perfection with just the right amount of char.

I've been dining at El Charro since it first opened, but it wasn't until my mom took me there during my summer break from college that I truly appreciated it. So far, I've only tried the tacos (bean and cheese, and chicken fajita), and they are fantastic! They’re just as good, if not better, than Charros. The chicken, in particular, had an amazing flavor. It is a bit pricier than Charros, but I believe the quality is worth it. If Charros is busy, this is definitely the place to go!

The food is exceptionally rich and deeply flavored with Mexican influences. The service is excellent, and I highly recommend this place.
