A-1 Pizza - Blairmore

In town for a wedding, so we grabbed 2 pizzas and some wings to share between the two of us. Great service from the gentleman working, very friendly. Wings travelled well, did not get soggy and were still hot when we got them to the hotel. Pizza was amazing! The sauce was great and they had the perfect ratio of cheese to toppings for me! Some other reviews mention price, but it’s a very similar price to that of dominoes or Pizza Hut, AND even though we only ordered 12” they were much more filling than the big brands. And the SAUCE! Trust me when I say I know my pizza sauce and Captain’s is to die for!

What a delight this place is! Homey and delicious! Captain is so welcoming and friendly. And he said he washed too many dishes over the years, so now we eat off disposable plates. Cannot argue with that! And the food was delicious- big selection of pizzas, homemade dough and sauce! We loved the chicken wings too!

Hands down best pizza we have had in a long time. My husband said it would be worth the drive from Calgary to eat. We were camped at Lumbreck Falls. A quick drive in to grab it. Thank you for your covid concerns and outdoor pick up only.

The captain is a legend. A feast of the senses suitable for even the most demanding pirates. Delivered to us this winter during a quarantine and it was pretty much a life saver. Thanks man, you're awesome.
