The Viking Steaks Seafood - Blair

Wonderful place to share good food with good friends. 1st time was last Friday. The friends we went with had not heard of the Viking and they live by Ft Calhoun! They loved it also. Prime rib and stuffed jumbo shrimp wonderful! So are the desserts, chocolate cake, pecan pie, and my husbands favorite...custard! Please go for a drive to enjoy the Viking restaurant in Blair. Our waitress Debbie is an exceptional young woman! Thank you Viking!

The food is good! Service is attentive, for the most part, though it was clear why the Help Wanted sign was up. I want to say the menu should be updated, but I don't know what you'd add, as the menu is fairly extensive. Everything was clean and in good repair, though the vibe is sort of stuck in the 80's or 90's. All in all, if you are in the mood for well-prepared comfort food, head to The Viking.
