Sweet Rebellion - Blacksburg

Absolutely delicious! My mother and I shared the chocolate zucchini raspberry cake and the German chocolate cake. Everything is both vegan and gluten-free.

Today I have thought about how to come with a dessert for a dinner that included both vegan and gluten-incompatible guests. Neither these restrictions have ever led to a delicious dessert, but in desperate need, both I ordered a carrot cake with orange jam icing from Sweet Rebellion. As a former catererer and cooking teacher with a serious but discriminatory sweet tooth, I had low expectations when I took the smallest slice. Pleasant to say, I ended up with two more very big slices, because it's by far the best carrot cakes and carrot cakes I've ever had! I'm still wondering how it was possible at all.

Amazing! We ordered a mocha cake, cupcakes, and lemon squares for our wedding shower and everything was excellent. Our dairy- and gluten-intolerant guests really appreciated it and everyone else was surprised to find out that the dessert they loved was vegan and gluten free.

I had a very good experience at Sweet Rebellion! Their food was very delicious and they have great customer service! I 10/10 recommend! Their cakes and muffins are amazing and you would never know they were gluten-free and vegan!

The baked goods here at Sweet Rebellion are fantastic! Very unique and very tasty! Staff was very friendly and even offered to top off some coffee for some customers that were leaving the store. I WILL be back and I absolutely love the baked goods that are gluten free!!!
