Macado's Blacksburg

Ordered a Mac and Cheese burger MEDIUM. It came VERY Well Done.

The Julias Ceaser Sandwich was amazing. Very flavorful, hot, and the chicken was well cooked. However the starter I ordered left a lot to be desired. I ordered the chips, dips, and things. The pretzel was as hard as a rock and was ineatable. The portion of cheese sauce and salsa was only enough for a couple of the bag of chips provided, and some of the house chips were also fairly stale. I will not order this restaurant again on DoorDash.

The food was delicious, but they were super short, so it took a while to be served and come for our food. We were served by the host, and he was very friendly and attentive. The floors and our table were super dirty, but the food was so delicious that I would definitely go back to order

We waited for an hour after the order of our food. the waiter was pleasant and has made a nice job. I asked to talk to the manager and was told that he was the one cook. I loved this place, but that's unacceptable. I doubt I'll come back soon, and finally, when the food came, one of the bungalows was burned. I've been coming to macado for over 45 years and I don't know if I ever come back.

This is based exclusively on the Blacksburg site and is based on the recent visit. Usually we had good experiences here and in other places. This time, however, we had waited long, from the time we were sitting until we had food before us. I usually have three expectations for a waiter: serve my food warm/cold, keep my drink full and do not float. I don't want too much on the waiter. I think they were short and he did his best. But it took 30 minutes to get our food and I sat with an empty glass for about 15 minutes. It could have been the first time, and I'll try again next time I'm in town. The food was good, so I can't complain about the quality. If the next experience is better, I will change this review.
