El Rodeo South Main - Blacksburg

The food was just OK on 6/13/20, the food seemed to be cooked ahead of time and then reheated. I love to go to this restaurant, since reopening the prices went up but the food was bad on this day. Fresh cooked fajitas not reheated they were dried out and hard to eat. Since the prices have gone up for their food, we now we only go on special occasions. The waiters are wonderful.

This is THE Mexican restaurant you want to visit in Blacksburg. They're all good around here, but these guys not only have great food, but they are extremely nice, make excellent drinks, and are ALWAYS kind and attentive. The food travels well for takeout (but obviously is next level when eaten at the restaurant). Kid friendly and fun atmosphere. Tell em I said hi.

Sever was very neglectful. I ordered chicken quesadilla but he “swore on his mom” that I ordered beef, when I specifically asked him 3 times to confirm it was chicken. Furthermore, how many times can one ask for spicy salsa?? Nearly 6 times to a few different servers before it actually came to the table. The server had an attitude like he didn’t want us to be there, and just wanted us to eat and leave. He was very neglectful. Food was good and their margs were great, but terrible customer service. Will not be returning.
