Roberts Oyster - Blackpool

I'm a native. roberts is known to me. I enjoyed the excellent oysters that are served here for many years, and that on. the last weeks were from hole fyne (3 for £5) absolute perfection with lemon tabasco or just the natural liquor.

The first time that oysters are served properly, and wow they are wonderful. I ordered 3 oysters for £4.99 with a wedge lemon. huge and fleshy oysters I doubt can be improved. by too funnygirls now I am refreshed

I have been coming back to this restaurant for over 5 years. Understandably, there have been some changes in that time. However, today the owner was very rude to us. If I hadn't already paid for my oysters, I would have left. Despite the fact that it had been raining all day, our usual outdoor table was not available. When I asked to be seated outside because the rain had stopped, we were placed in a corner inside. I had brought a small bottle of Prosecco to enjoy with my oysters, as I have done many times before. I was scolded for this and when I asked if I could pour it into a different glass, I was refused. The owner continued to lecture me about their policies. I didn't feel welcome at all in this place. I will definitely not be returning and I will not recommend it to my friends and family. It's very disappointing as this restaurant used to be one of the highlights of our trips to Blackpool.

Absolutely beautiful prawns and lobster tail. The man who served us was very pleasant will defo be going back

Had three oysters for £6 excellent flavour and texture. Just a wonderful experience, and how good it is that such a place survives amidst all the tat and look alike places. Tables are a bit low and service wasn't exactly smiley, but worth the trip!
