Really friendly staff for us cyclists compared to another place few miles down the road which looks nice but with awful staff

In the sunlight, this is a lovely spot to gather and enjoy a meal. They offer gluten-free bread and cake, which is a real treat for those of us who struggle to find options at charming tea houses. The food is acceptable—not particularly impressive, but certainly not bad either.

I could nitpick and say it wasn't the best espresso I've had this week, but it was certainly drinkable. The bacon sandwich was very good, and the service was excellent. A return visit in February 2022 showed a significant improvement in their coffee quality, and the service was outstanding.

This is an absolutely charming place to visit! The atmosphere is friendly and attentive, making it a welcoming and relaxing experience. And that’s not even factoring in the tea, coffee, and cake!
