Birdies Bistro - Blackheath

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The food and service were exceptional, and I can’t believe I hadn’t visited until this weekend. The cook went above and beyond to prepare the best bone-in steak and the lobster mom was simply perfect!

The food was unappetizing and served cold. The chips were soggy, the salad looked unappealing, and the veggie lasagna was dry. Everything was presented on a dirty plate.

We had lunch on the deck with a view of the golf course, which was the perfect sunny spot to enjoy a delicious meal. The food was superb and the portions were generous. I highly recommend this place!

A restaurant meal at a club price. We ordered a grilled seafood plate, chicken with garlic aoili, a pavlova and a chocolate brownie. These dishes were prepared and served with beautiful flavours and came to the table looking like they had been dished up from a high end restaurant not a golf club bistro! And very very cheap. Serving sizes were just right. A ten out of ten meal and completely unexpected when you walk in the door. Friendly girl on counter completes the deal
