The Clog Billycock - Blackburn

I use this app frequently since I travel around the UK for work, and I must say, this place is a true gem. It features a beautiful restaurant, excellent service, and a delicious meal—plus, they are very knowledgeable about gluten-free options. Luckily, I'll be in the area all week, so I’ll be back tomorrow. If you find yourself nearby, definitely pay a visit; you won't be disappointed! 5 stars!

This restaurant is consistently a fantastic choice for a safe dining experience. Their online menu lets you filter for allergens, making it easy to check before your visit. At the table, you'll receive a printed allergen menu that clearly lists all allergens in each dish. The food is always delicious and beautifully presented, with a wide variety of options on the gluten-free menu. The staff are incredibly helpful; during our last visit, they remembered who needed the allergen menu from a previous visit, even though I hadn't mentioned it when I made the reservation this time. Very impressive service! I've had similarly positive experiences at other locations in this chain as well.

I go here regularly. Even spoken to the chef on a few occasions as we are friendly with the bar staff. The gluten free fish and chips are to die for as is the cauliflower fritters. They also do gluten free pies and do a really good chocolate brownie for dessert. There's others but im usually too full for dessert. The drinks are amazing too, especially if you're a gin fan.
