Contribuiți la feedbackThe poachers has been a popular restaurant for some time and we were very interested to see that the owners had decided to rework it under the new name of dom restaurant and bar with a completely redesigned menu. the menu is a large selection. round tapas-style dishes of tried and not only were they absolutely tasty they were inventive and often very original, as the pizzas. another nice note was that the cheeses were individually priced and come from craft producers. all dishes are freshly cooked and come as they are made. can best ask if they want them in a particlar order. the service is as impeccable as always. another welcome innovation is the new extensive wine list with very interesting and unusual items, all available with a new technology through the glass. I also understand for those who want more standard tariffs that the sunday is lunch along the traditional lines. all in all some amazing flavors and cant wait to come back
Recently visited under the new name of dom for tapas night and really enjoyed eating it was amazing with a well thought out menu with a huge wine choice, we ordered many of the tapas options that were available my favorites. Cod chain, we ordered some extra dishes after we liked them so much, will definitely be back
We once called up the opportunity and there was a lot of space and a warm welcome. the restaurant, now called dom, offers tapas, but still with fine culinary excellent pumpkin, burrata (creamy cheese) walnut and maple syrup, a fantastic Thai beef...table, the enough of the pork bell that is raised by an edgy and corpse. there were many cheeses that were paired with something sweet that we could have tried, but desserts were heavenly. a seemingly ordinary cream brûlée perfectly made by the balance of sweet with the tang of celestial. we felt, despite the fact that our server was busy and they understood gluten-free, so I had a lot of choice.
Visited a few weeks ago after reading the reviews. the reservation was for us and we arrived shortly before. restaurant beautiful made with lots of space between tables and large table for four people we really like. sa, waiting for about minutes before...we were asked if we want water/drinks. water came, but drinks were still a few minutes. Finally, the menus and the dame that took the commands arrived almost immediately to ask what we said we were not ready and then waited a few minutes to order. the starters arrived at which it was good. the most important courses were average and for over the filet steak was definitiw not and just sat on a large plate with a few frozen chips around it scattered a bit garn / rakete / moschus / tomaten could have been included for this price? the accompanying salate was dried in the dressur. it seemed that only the lady lady who took orders when the other girls stood safe when the menu is so limited that they could trust to take an order! yes, they were busy (saturday night), but don't take them as many bookings if they don't deal with them as human as we don't return.
Booked for a birthday lunch on Saturday and dined on the outside terrace.Starter of pigeon was excellent and the sirloin steak truly superb. My partner had the wild sea bass which we were told was delivered direct from Newlyn,Cornwall. It was magnificent. We went off the private cellar...for our wines which were selected by Aga..again great choices.Overall a lovely experience. To sum up I will use a quote from a Rolls Royce dealership..’Quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten’.
