Burnt Onion Kitchen Brews - Biwabik

We had a wonderful dining experience! The portions were generous, and the service was excellent. The waitstaff were friendly and engaging. We would have loved to sit outside on the balcony, but unfortunately, the weather did not allow for it.

The restaurant boasts a lovely atmosphere with a view of the ski hill. The tables are well-spaced for social distancing, which is appreciated. The food was excellent, and I particularly recommend the onion soup.

Everything was fantastic as always, but the service was subpar. I could have spent more on my bill if I had been able to order additional drinks with dinner, but the server never came back to our table, even when my glass was empty. It didn't seem like she had a lot of other tables to take care of. I did manage to try one beer, but there were many others on tap that I wanted to sample. This was on Saturday, February 27, 2021. One of the servers had a helper, and they were moving efficiently, while our server appeared to be struggling with just two tables. I’m really looking forward to the time when I can sit at the bar again.
