Hotel Solaria - Bivio

In general, the place is convenient, food is beautiful, decor is old-fashioned (not classic). Dessert are beautiful and wine list interesting.

Very delicious food and nice service. we ordered some vegan foods that were labeled as vegan. We just asked and they were very kind to prepare us. we ordered rusti with vegetables and pasta with tomatoes and olive oil. the...soup a kind of potato ginger soup was also very good. we were surprised by the taste of food.

Very authentic Swiss cuisine, beautifully presented (but also pizza dishes). Delicious and in an affordable price range. Very attentive service, certainly a place we will visit again.

We've been visiting Bivio for over a decade and a family treat is to go to the restaurant at the hotel Solaria. Nice selection of traditional dishes but what we almost inevitably go for is the pizza cooked right in front of you in...a real wood fired pizza oven. The staff are always friendly and the whole ambience is welcoming. Not the cheapest dinner you will ever have but about right by Swiss standards.

As it was in the off season most hotels in the area were closed so were thankful to find this one late in the day. Staff were really nice and friendly, food was nice and rooms comfortable. Price was a little expensive but Swiss Hotels...most of the time are more than you pay in other countries.
