A great, clean experience. kids room is a great idea and the in door pool it fantastic, clean and was empty, so pretty much had it to ourselves. Hotel Receptionist Jake, was very friendly and catered to all our needs . Only down fall, the breakfast juices were very watered down and there wasnt a direct bus link, from hotel too pepper pig world (paultons park).

The actual rooms were decent, shower was not in the best of state, I couldn't take a shower in my room during my stay as there was mould and discoloured. We stayed in rooms 104 and 105 on 5th and 6th August and the housekeeping lady was absolutely superb. She had very positive attitude, extremely helpful, friendly and had a smile on her face if asked for help. In the mornings I could hear her humming away and singing while cleaning all the room, this was a great start to my day as you can tell she really loves her job and enjoys helping guests. I was so impressed with her I gave her chocolates before leaving but I wish I could've given her something more. She is a credit to the company and definitely deserves a high position in customer services. I've been to a lot of hotels but never came across housekeeping as lovely as her, very special lady.

The staff are welcoming and helpful. The table service was great The food was good my batter on my fish was a little hard however is was nice presented. The Room was of good size the curtains kept the room cool. The ensuite was very clean the water pressure was good and the towels are fluffy. Breakfast had a good selection for all.

Very good service from all staff especially the hotel manager. Our room was a tad hot when we got to the hotel which after switching on the air con hoping it would cool down but proved not to work properly. Thankfully the manager moved us to a different room. Beds were very uncomfortable and the whole hotel needed a bit of TLC. We had access to the health club which as nothing was working and the guy behind the desk didn't seem to want to help. Luckily the great service from the hotel team have saved this review from being a 2 star.

Hotel very child friendly. Had room for children to play in, even if it was freezing with air con. Staff at check in great, fast check in and had lots of additions for children like milk and cookies and activity packs. The rooms are what you pay for, nothing special but clean and tidy with all you need. There was double bed, sofa bed and cot provided for our 2 year old. The food at breakfast was brilliant. Great selection to suit all. Dinner however was a bit of a disaster. The cost was on the expensive side. Kids ate free but the adult price made up for that. The pizzas, we're OK but lacked finesse and we're a bit sloppy, the children's pizza was half an adult on which my son was 4. He didn't eat any, he wanted some cheap cheese -less 50p one from morrisons. The overall stay was good. There was a pool. A bit deep for the children and cold. But it was a good stay. I'd not hesitate to stay again.
