Friendly staff and excellent lunch! always go there when I am in bishop hill

This restaurant is amazing! The prices are a bit high, but the food is delicious. The waitress was very attentive and friendly.

We have come to lucia nights for many years, and for almost every visit we have chosen P.L johnsons to dinner. we were never disappointed. their suppening, sandwiches and desserts are fantastic and the service is friendly and efficient. in particular, the dining area at the kitchen is cozy and beautifully furnished for christmas.

This adorable small store/restaurant is a gem! We visited on a weekend and were quickly seated as it wasn't too busy. The service was prompt and efficient, and the food was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend trying the meatballs and the lindenberry sauce - so tasty! They reminded me of the meatballs you can get at Ikea, but this place is much closer to me than Chicago. The portions were just right and the soda came in a can. On colder days, they also offer tea, coffee, and cocoa. I loved dining in this historic building and will definitely be returning next time I'm in Bishop Hill.

This restaurant serves delicious homemade comfort food at its finest. Today's special is Ham Loaf, which happens to be my favorite dish!
