Syriana - Birmingham

We were greeted by a very lovely lady, who was extremely sweet and there was quick service. Their drinks and food (especially kofta) was amazing and we also got complimentary mint tea which was amazing! Such a warm environment with good food, definitely recommend :D

Quiet atmosphere after 6 pm on a Sunday. The dish I had was called something on the lines of 'Kredes '. A prawn dish with rice, seasoned potato, red cabbage, and a type of bread with tomato paste that made it taste like pizza. The prawns were a bit spicy to me, but I think it was just a certain ingredient that was triggering me. I 'm not sure if the potatoes were very flavoursome or just really salty, but they tasted spicier than the prawns.

Food was absolutely delicious. We had the baba gahnoush, the shish tauwk, the syriana cocktail and some Arabic tea. The food was very succulent, very tender and juicy. Rice was cooked to perfection. The cocktail was absolutely refreshing. The hospitality was amazing, the staff were very welcoming and an absolute delight! Would definitely recommend!
