Contribuiți la feedbackI frequently visit this restaurant. The experience is always enjoyable and the food is delicious. However, the service could be improved to meet higher standards.
The experience was mediocre. Unfortunately, we were isolated from the rest of the table. We were seated in an awkward spot between two groups, leading to us feeling excluded. The chefs focused their attention on the other diners first before cooking for us. The food was decent, but it was clear that some chefs were more enthusiastic than others. It was unusual to be asked to move to another table for the final course. Overall, we left feeling quite disappointed.
The staff were very friendly and the chefs were very entertaining, fire, throwing eggs, letting people have a go. However the food was all served very slowly. For 16 people, 15 had the set menu for £32. This should have been quite easy to serve, but took 2.5 hours end to end, also meaning you got each item at different times e.g. beansprouts were cooked and served when most people had finished all the meat! The food was quite basic on the whole, small amounts of meat and dessert was also very basic- fruit salad or ice cream with squirty cream. For £32 I expected better quality. Good for the experience but actual food left me a bit disappointed.
The chef was very entertaining and let us have a go at cracking the egg. My 2 girls (aged 2 and 12) both enjoyed watching the chef cook our food. The restaurant was busy on a Saturday night and it took a while for our drinks to arrive. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly.
Fabulous evening, the Teppanyaki chef on our table was funny, friendly and very entertaining. All the food was amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant.
