Pizza City - Birmingham

Starting from Holiday Inn Express Snowshill to Jewellery Quarter, go straight past St Chad's Cathedral for about 5 minutes. There are few restaurants nearby, but I happened to see a pizza sign outside this place. Feeling a bit hungry, I decided to take a look inside. A regular 6-inch pizza with two toppings only costs 1.9 pounds, adding an extra topping makes it 2.5 pounds. After waiting for five minutes, the hot and thin crust pizza was ready. Despite its low price, the quality exceeded my expectations. The restaurant only has a few tables and chairs, and the decor is minimal.

Some of the best value takeaway pizza that I have ever had. £6 for an extra large. Just call ahead and it is ready for pick-up in 10-15 minutes. Pizza was always good. Very cheesy and a fair amount of sauce too. Very good option rather than what is on offer in the local area especially by the big chains.

We stopped at Pizza City to get takeaway after being at a concert. The man was extremely friendly and chatted to us whilst our food was being prepared. It was very cheap and tasted good.

I ordered 4 xl pizzas, they were delivered and the whilst the driver didn'y speak at all that wasn't something i'd grumble on. Pizza's were great the office enjoyed them. However, when I ordered directly with them instead of using an alternate online service no pizza arrived, after waiting an 50 minutes i rang them to be told it would be another 40 minutes. So when I advised to cancel, as everyone had waited long enough, the guy on the phone called me a p--ck and shut the call. I found this absoloutely unacceptable behaviour from a place that was to be the office regular. I don't see that happening now, I hope the satisfaction of being abusive to customers over the phone outweighs the need for business, because business isn't something that anyone here will be giving them.

Whenever we are having a lunchtime feast at work we aways order Pizzas from Pizza City and all of us look forward to them and really like them.
