1565 Restaurant, Bar Terrace

Very good I bet it will be tonight heaving for football with these beautiful large screens especially on the outside balcony. foot was great, service excellent.

Nice decor and balcony, lacked atmosphere. Bar attendant unwelcoming and rude, refused us a martini espresso before then agreeing to make them. Was at the end of his shift and keen to leave. It wasn't particularly late only about 10 so was surprised at the lack of service and menu options, (not serving coffee either).

Went for the Hendricks afternoon Tea Friday 24th February. Quirky Gin Cocktail served in Dracula style teapots-very cool. Delicious afternoon tea and sandwiches. Cakes were traditional yet some had an interesting twist. Very different afternoon tea. Very enjoyable only downside would have liked to have been checked up on to see how we were getting on if we wanted refills.-as we were pretty much left to it However, we just requested what we needed and asked anyway. Service very professional and friendly.

The bar area inside the restaurant receives a perfect 5/5 rating, but the parking situation is a disaster. The entrance is narrow and poorly designed, making it difficult for larger vehicles to maneuver. The signage for the hotel bar is also lacking in the parking area. It would be better to park in the open space in front of the building. Additionally, the hotel's rooftop bar has not reopened, which is disappointing considering the lack of similar options in the city.
