I was very disappointed. Been a long time since I have been able to afford to splurge on a night out to eat at a fine dining restaurant. I took a friend of mine who had never gone in and sat down to eat a nice dinner at Cortese. I invited her out because it was the 1st anniversary of her daughters passing and she was sad and I thought I could maybe help her get through the night by taking her to what I thought would be a great dining experience for her. We both ordered the Chicken Saltimbocco. A meal she never tried before. The Chicken was very dry and the sauce was too sweet. I could tell she didn't find it as delicious as I said it would be and neither did I. I do have to say our waitress was very good. I was a little embarrassed and very disappointed that the meal did not meet our expectations and especially for the price. Im not sure if ill bother spending that kind of money for a dinner there again.

Boy, you can sure tell that you’re eating something that is homemade!

If you decide to order spaghetti for takeout, be sure to request extra sauce. The last two times I ordered it, there was hardly any sauce, and it didn't even coat the pasta properly. The spaghetti ended up tasting like plain noodles. I had to go out and buy a jar of sauce just to make it edible.
