Montana Sky - Billings

This was our first visit and it was an amazing experience! The food and drinks were excellent and the staff were very welcoming!

Very expensive for the overall food to not be that good. Steak was seared too long, so every bite had a burnt taste. The meatballs were overcooked and so hard that we didn't finish them. I think that might have been the first time that i didn't finish meatballs as an appetizer. The asparagus was even burnt, and the chicken was mainly breading with hardly any actual chicken. I will say that we did like the bruschetta, bread w/ olive oil, mac n' cheese, and wine. We arrived at 5pm (when they opened with a reservation), and it still took around 45 minutes just to get our appetizer. They also don't even have a cocktail menu. I don't know how their breakfast is, and I don't know if I want to even try it now. We still had to check it out since it has the best view of Billings from the 20th floor. Overall, this place has a pretty good view, so maybe just stock with some wine and bread. I will say that Harley was really nice when I made the reservation!

Obviously has management issues. Servers were extremely undersupported. Food came out very slow and unsafely undercooked. To their credit, they made it right and comped. However, it took 2 hours for a simple steak. Very disappointed for the price. Not the servers fault at all. She was doing the best she could with the meager resources provided to her.

My expectations were a little bit higher given the reviews that were on OpenTable. All three of us in my party ordered the fillet and frankly it just didn't have what you expect from a fillet for over $40. The meat was tough. The iceberg wedge salad was weak, and that was a small portion of iceberg on a bib, lettuce bed... When my party asked an order to dessert... That the waiter had recommended as his top pick... He came back to inform us that it was not available because they had not thawed out the cake You can do better

This place has really gone in the tank. As far away from Fine Dining as you can get. The food was just ok and the staff was attentive but seriously uninterested. Glorified Dennys!!
