Buffalo Block Prime Steakhouse

It was a wonderful experience for our first time to dine at Buffalo Block. It is a bit pricey but rightly so I think, so it would have you be a special occasion for us to return to the restaurant. Thank you to our server who was very charming.

We go here every year for our anniversary and it never disappoints. Our waitress was amazing and the food was as delicious. Thanks for making our special night a good one.

Butcher Block Steakhouse is excellent! The filet is the finest, aged 30 days in butter tender and cooked perfectly to my specification. Menu and presentation is superb!

Our waitress was not on her game at all but was very nice and apologetic for the several things she forgot. Most of the food was great but the 16-oz NY strip was definitely not even close to 16 oz (before cooking, of course). It also had about 3-4 ounces of fat and gristle so it was a real disappointment. The lobster mac-n-chesse was excellent, the mashed potatoes were dry and pasty and the Rex house salad was great. The dining room was incredibly loud for a classy place but that improved once a table of 10 drinking, loudly cursing men left; it's too bad the staff didn't recognize how detrimental they were to every other diner there that night. Overall it was a decent experience but not worth the cost. This isn't a place we'll try again.

The best steak I’ve ever had, and I’m from cattle country in Canada. That says a lot!The butter aged new york strip was incredible. Can’t recommend this place enough, from a steak loving Canadian.
