Duke Of York - Billericay

The eating here is really nice it can not fail at all, but the service and the time we had to wait was ridiculous 5,30 table well booked in advance was sitting up close to 6 due to the table was not ready once sitting and finally our order had taken it to arrive for them over an hour, so do not eat until away 7, if booked at 5,30 is not really up! we then had dessert that was beautiful and paid for the bill, how the waitress did not return our change and just turned around and said, oh wanted her change back? what I thought was rude, then she came up directly on the table when they had another book! I would come back to try, but maybe not a Saturday, as the gluten-free menu was brilliant for my daughter and she loved it when the food was really nice, but if that happened again, I wouldn't return to the third time, so I guess not come here if they were in a hurry!

Four of my five party members were disappointed by the choice of eating for lunchtime. I had eaten in the evening a few times before the duke of york and was satisfied with the choice. I recommended it to my friends and I'm sorry to say everything, but one was disappointed. we are unlikely to visit again.

A beautiful meal served by very helpful friendly staff. my daughter has a milk allergy and the staff was very helpful to inform them about food without milk or those who could cook without them.

The first time in your pub. the starter was brought to us, but the waiter left a tomate on my friends clothes. my friend and I order a mini dessert with coffee, we have our drinks, but the coffee was warm, but we all waited a very long time for our food. our partners also ordered a normal dessert. I called the waitress and told her. we had the manager to say that the chefs have gone into a bar (reids) in billericay and forget to make our desserts. we got the desserts, but it wasn't a good first impression.

Pleased to be able to get a table the day before. The place was very busy and service was a bit slow but worth it for freshly cooked food which was lovely.
